Cypress is a biologist who has dedicated the last six years to working on various fish enumeration projects across British Columbia. With a special focus on Pacific salmon, trout, and sturgeon, Cypress combines her passion for coastal conservation with species at risk monitoring.
Cypress has hands-on experience with Passive Integrated Transponder (PIT) studies, sonar technology, habitat assessments, and study design. Her work ensures that these important species are prioritized in environmental decision-making and conservation efforts.
Cypress is the Project Coordinator for the Pacific Salmon Foundation's Bottlenecks to Survival Program. She’s excited to connect with others who share her dedication to protecting salmon.
